Trios Scanner

Fully Digital Impressions

Trios Scanner

In the world of orthodontics, staying at the forefront of technology is essential. At Razz Orthodontics, we’re committed to providing our patients with the most advanced and effective treatments available.

One of the ways we’re doing this is by utilizing cutting-edge digital imaging technology. The traditional process of creating dental impressions was uncomfortable, gross, and time-consuming. However, we’ve moved beyond this method and only use fully digital impressions in our office. This approach is not only more comfortable for our patients, but it also provides us with the most accurate and detailed representation of your smile.

But the benefits don’t stop there. With this technology, we can also simulate potential treatment outcomes. This feature gives us a realistic projection of how your smile might look after treatment, empowering you to make informed decisions about your care.

The TRIOS scanner projects a light source onto the area to be scanned. As the scanner moves over the teeth and gums, thousands of images are captured by imaging sensors. Each image is then processed and sent wirelessly to a software program. This program pulls together each image to create a highly detailed, 3D impression of your teeth and gums. The result is displayed on a screen almost immediately after the scan is complete.

At Razz Orthodontics, we’re not just adopting new technology; we’re advancing the way we care for our patients. In our office, you can expect only the most advanced, effective, and comfortable tools and techniques!

SprintRay 3D Printer

SprintRay 3D Printer

This isn’t just any printer. The SprintRay 3D Printer is specifically designed for dental applications, bringing a whole new level of precision and efficiency to our practice. It’s essentially an in-house lab that allows us to create highly accurate, custom-made orthodontic appliances right here in our office.

Here’s how it works: We begin by using our TRIOS Scanner to take a digital impression of your teeth. This image is then sent to the SprintRay 3D Printer, which uses a special type of resin to construct the appliance layer by layer. The result? A perfectly fitted orthodontic appliance made just for you.

However, the benefits of the SprintRay 3D Printer go beyond precision and customization. It also allows us to speed up the treatment process. Instead of waiting weeks for an outside lab to create and deliver your appliances, we can do it in-house in a fraction of the time. That means faster treatment times and fewer office visits for you.
